Writing skills training
These days, writing skills are more important than ever before. So we don’t just offer courses for PR practitioners, although this is usually where writing expertise resides in the organisation. We also offer courses for anyone who needs to communicate effectively in writing.
We take a unique, diagnostic approach to our training. Ideally, we like to review examples of writing in advance of planning your training programme. And then we recommend post-course exercises (with feedback provided) to reinforce and cement lessons learnt. We can also offer ongoing mentoring if needed.
Our writing training ranges from specific courses for areas such as proofreading, press releases and websites, to more wide-ranging courses on business writing and social media. Our diagnostic approach enables us to make recommendations that focus on particular writing tasks, or particular writing skills, or a combination of the two, as appropriate.
As part of our training delivery we aim to build in live exercises so delegates can receive real-time feedback. As well as extensive – and constructive – feedback, we make wide use of ‘expert’ answers to exercises as examples of good practice.
